Real estate wire fraud continues to be one of the most prevalent cybercrimes in the U.S. For your protection, Cambria Title will no longer accept wires from Borrowers, Buyers, or Sellers. All funds in excess of $1,000 should be a certified check made payable to Cambria Title. If at some point in the closing process you receive an email or text from someone (even someone appearing to be Cambria Title, a Realtor, or another party in the transaction) requesting or providing wire instructions, please disregard the email and immediately call Cambria Title at a trusted number.
